The combination of f/4 maximum aperture, 300mm focal length, and impressive VR technology allows strong low-light performance and beautiful bokeh. Enhancing performance further is an electromagnetic diaphragm that provides enhanced stability in auto exposure for consistent, more precise exposures, especially when shooting at high frame rates. Three focus modes are employed: A/M (prioritises autofocus even when the focus ring is in use), M/A (allows instant switching from autofocus to manual operation in AF mode), and M (manual).
